A Mini-break

No work on the car this weekend as I went up to Flagstaff with my beautiful and long-suffering wife, Julie, to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. We had planned a couple of days of golf at Pine Canyon golf club, but guess what we woke up to on Saturday morning:

Snow in Flagstaff
Definitely no golf on Saturday - we did go to the club for lunch with our friends Cheryl and Bob, where we watched the Elk wander down the 18th fairway in a blizzard.

We had decided to go home early, but woke on Sunday to brilliant sunshine and reasonably warm weather, so we reverted to plan A and played golf in the afternoon - we were pretty much the only people on the course, so it was a nice way to end the weekend.

Not a bad view, and still some snow at altitude.

All in all a lovely weekend and a great way to kick off the next 10 years.
