Time off at the Track

As I am waiting for parts, I decided to join Ron at the track for a couple of days of fun. We are both members at Inde Motorsports Ranch, where we go to get away from it all (i.e. hide from Carol and Julie).

There was a nice line up of cars waiting for us in the morning:

Other members Lori and Manfred flew in for the day. Lori is the other Mini driver there:

Somehow there were also two members called Jim Edwards there (shades of Monty Python - I shall call them both Bruce from now on). A few nice cars:

Ron's Ferrari

Ron's very quick 458 Challenge.  Try finding a socket big enough in Willcox to take one of those wheels off.

Apparently the Porsche below is one of only 80 made - and I thought it was just another 911. Worth quite a bit of money, which would explain why Bruce stayed away from me in my Lotus.

And this beauty. Yes, it is real:

Graham Dorland, the owner of the track, has a nice little collection of toys:

On the drive back I got the boys to keep me up to date on the Canadiens must-win game. 6-2. That's more like it, we are still in with a chance.
